- Richard Seymour is 100% justified in his hesitancy to go to Oakland....his kids started school 2 days before the trade... he was in contract talks with NE....it's OAKLAND... and he knows he won't win this year....that being said, he's gotta go (and is)...and the bigger story? Cold...blooded....Bill Belichick...
- Derek Jeter is the all-time hits leader for the Yankees....this would be a bigger deal to me if the record was over 3,000 hits...how is it possible that it isn't for the Yankees of all franchises?
- Tila Tequila...go away....charges dismissed....
- Michael Jordan...gets choked up last night at the HOF induction...crazy...but you can just see the fire oozing from him when he talks about still playing until he's 50 lol...it's what made him the best...
- Charlotte Bobcats co-owner William Beck dies in a plane crash last night...I had to scroll down...way down...on the headlines to even hear this? Weird...RIP though...
- The T-Wolves are going to be a fascinating story for a few years....Ramon Sessions is now their property as Milwaukee didn't match his offer sheet....does he play the 2? Do they bring Jonny Flynn off the bench? They now have Antonio Daniels too to clog the backcourt...and a returning Corey Brewer will battle with Ryan Gomes on the wing...really interested to see that rotation unfold...but they have 2 of my favorite players on the block in the outlet-pass-throwing Kevin Love and Big Al Jefferson...
- And finally...it's very, very hard for me to watch the Atlanta Braves right now...and I'm gonna say this....Chipper Jones has KILLED this team's chances...yeah, I know, it's taboo to get on Chipper...but here we are...he's hitting in the low .100's for the last month....100s!!! and that not-so-shockingly coincides with the collapse....I know how bad the bullpen is/was...and they are clearly NOT without blame...but Chipper can't be jumped over when passing the buck... he's been flat-out awful
