CFB Weekend Preview

A little late on this one...but only one relevant game was played on thursday, and I discussed it....

First...THE PICKS
YTD: 23-21-3.....
  • Northwestern -4 over Purdue....Purdue is quite bad...especially on the road and Northwestern is devalued because, well, they are Northwestern, but this is an 8 or 9-win team I think, lay the 4....
  • Wisconsin +3.5 over Iowa....Yes, I fall into the trap again....Wisconsin can't be as bad as they've played lately....I hope
  • USC -42 over Washington State....wow...you're thinking 42 points? yes....Washington State is the worst major conference team in the country, and they've already allowed 60+ 3 times this year....it's an enormous amount of points...but I'd bet it if it was -48.5....lol
  • Kansas +20 over Oklahoma....Sooners win...but Kansas is good enough where this is too many points to be given
  • Michigan +24.5 over Penn State....before you ask, I know Michigan has no chance to win this game....but 24.5!??!?! Insulting....final score 31-13

Okay, that's that....Some important games to preview....

  • Vandy at Georgia.....Vandy hangs around, but on UGA's homecoming....not letting this one get away....
  • Ohio St. @ Michigan State....gun to my head I take the Buckeyes....Javon Ringer is the extent of MSU's offense, and Tressel can at least contain him I think....The key is Pryor on the road...
  • Missouri @ Texas....upset alert all over this one....angry Mizzou team....great passing offense for Mizzou vs. atrocious pass D of Texas....Let-down game for Texas.....I'm just saying...
  • Georgia Tech @ Clemson (for my readers like Travis and John who are Tech fans...) - Clemson is in utter disarray...starting a freshman at QB, a freshman at RB, a "freshman" in head coaching AND play calling (first game for both), and their O-Line is awful....I'm gonna chalk up the Gardner-Webb debacle to a look ahead game for Tech and I'd let that D-Line loose all day against the inexperienced Tigers.....Tech easy....
