- Chris Paul "open to be traded"... In an interview from London, CP3 stated a desire to stay in New Orleans but only if they're committed to winning... what does that mean? I have no idea... but I do know his name is out there and just gave them an out to deal him... Kind of big news for the best PG on earth...
- France, Greece, South Africa and more eliminated from the World Cup... now we're getting down to business... teams actually going home...
Baseball...
- Pitching Line of the Day - Mat Latos (SD) - the rookie went 7, allowing 3 hits, 0 ER, and had 8 K's... he's been ridiculous for about 6 weeks now...
- Batting Line of the Day - Angel Pagan (NYM) - 4 for 6 with 4 RBI and 3 runs
- The Braves go down behind another Tommy Hanson stinker... Hanson has been fantastic at times, but this is his 2nd 8+ ER game this year... I don't know if he's prone to this sort of blow-up but it's certainly not good... Also, the Braves scored 5+ runs and lost for the first time since mid-to-late 2009...
- Baltimore is 19-51... 19-51! That is an utter embarrassment... to be almost 25 games out in mid-June... I don't even know where to start...
What to watch for...
- World Cup - 10:00 am (Slovenia/England on ESPN2, US/Algeria on ESPN) and 2:30 pm (Ghana/Germany on ESPN, Australia/Serbia on ESPN2)
- Braves/White Sox - 8:00 PM Peachtree TV - Hudson/Buehrle... a nice matchup there
- Tigers/Mets - 7:00 ESPN - Bonderman/Dickey... watch if you like Knuckle-ballers...
Enjoy the day... Go USA..
