2011 College Football Preview: Part 7 - Awards and Predictions

Greetings all... before we get to the national awards, etc. I want to hit Notre Dame and Boise State quickly... they are the only 2 non-major conference programs with BCS chances this year IMO... Notre Dame wins 9 games for me behind D. Crist if he stays healthy, and Brian Kelly has won wherever he's been... also, not a typically difficult Notre Dame schedule, so they could easily win 10 and get a BCS at-large... for Boise? I think they go 11-1 after an opening loss to Georgia in a virtual road game...

Here we go...

Top 5's
  • QBs - Andrew Luck (Stanford), Denard Robinson (Michigan), Kellen Moore (Boise), Case Keenum (Houston), Landry Jones (Oklahoma)
  • RBs - LaMichael James (Oregon), Trent Richardson (Alabama), Marcus Lattimore (South Carolina), James White (Wisconsin), Lance Dunbar (North Texas)
  • WRs - Alshon Jeffery (South Carolina), Justin Blackmon (Oklahoma State), Ryan Broyles (Oklahoma), Greg Childs (Arkansas), Michael Floyd (Notre Dame)
  • TEs - Orson Charles (Georgia), Michael Egnew (Missouri), David Paulson (Oregon), George Bryan (NC State), Kevin Koger (Michigan)
  • OLs (all positions) - Barrett Jones (Alabama), Nate Potter (Boise), Brandon Washington (Miami), Bradley Sowell (Ole Miss), Mike Adams (Ohio State)
  • DEs - Brandon Jenkins (Florida State), Ronald Powell (Florida), Devin Taylor (South Carolina), Bruce Irvin (West Virginia), Quinton Coples (UNC)

  • LBs - Dunt'a Hightower (Alabama), Manti Te'o (Notre Dame), Luke Kuechly (Boston College), Sean Spence (Miami) if he plays, Travis Lewis (Oklahoma)
