Hilariously Quick MLB Playoff Preview

Greetings... let's knock this out right now...

Division Series
  • Rangers over Rays in 4 - Too many bats for Texas here... really interested to see rookie Matt Moore on the hill in Game 1, but Texas is the better team
  • Yankees over Tigers in 4 - Verlander wins game 1... Yankees win the next 3...
  • Phillies over Cardinals in 3 - Get your brooms out... With apologies to Chris Carpenter, the pitching matchups are too lopsided...
  • Brewers over D-Backs in 4 - Allow me to be the millionth person that discounts the D-Backs... Milwaukee actually sets up really well in the playoffs with Greinke/Marcum/Gallardo and those bats... AZ will steal one behind Kennedy or Hudson, but that'll be it
Championship Series
  • Rangers over Yankees in 6 - Planting my flag on the Rangers... somehow, they have better pitching than the $200 million+ payroll Yankees (sorry CC), and an equally strong (if not better) bullpen... CC wins both of his starts... and the Yankees still lose in 6...
  • Phillies over Brewers in 5 - The gauntlet rolls on...
World Series
  • Phillies over Rangers in 7 - Better lineup and bullpen for the Rangers... (much) better starting pitching from the Phillies... I'll hold true to form and back the pitching, especially when all 3 Phillies guys are capable of throwing complete games and taking the bullpen out of it... I've been on Philly as the team to beat for 3-4 months, and I'll roll with them...
Sorry Nick...
