So inevitably, we will all be exposed to endless "Brett Favre's legacy" talk over the next couple days....here's where I stand:

Lists

Guys I'd say are ahead of him on the all-time QB list: Elway, Montana, Brady....thats it

Guys in the same discussion: Marino, Young, Peyton Manning (who will probably pass him, especially if he wins another title), Unitas

That said...he's somewhere between 4 and 8 all-time...its just semantics now....That said...Great player obviously...took too many chances and threw wayyyy too many INTs (most all-time yikes) but also won 3 straight MVPs (only guy ever) and has the most TDs and yards ever....Stats are weighted to the era, amount of games played, etc....but can't argue he wasn't an outstanding player....I'll keep him out of the best ever talk...but he's up there
