10/20: Underdogs Lead the Way...

Good morning all...
  • Rangers 10, Yankees 3... Rangers 3, Yankees 1... That is the score from Game 3 and the series count... unlikely? yes... shocking? no... The Rangers bats have exploded the way they have always been capable (and Josh Hamilton looks like the best player on the planet), and the Yankees lack of starting pitching (along with their long/middle relief being awful) has been exposed... I'm enjoying it...
  • Matt Cain is dealing... That was a direct tweet from me yesterday afternoon and it was true... The Giants have taken the lead behind dominant pitching (again), and Philly is backed into a corner... Charlie Manuel has announced he'll throw Joe Blanton in Game 4... and people are killing him (and they killed Girardi for pitching Burnett in Game 4).. but I'll defend it... Philly needs all 3 of their big 3 to win starts to win this series now... It's really easy to say "Throw Halladay on 3 days!" not thinking about the fact that that also ensures you're throwing Hamels and Oswalt on 3 days... and Halladay twice! Blanton vs. Bumgarner is advantage Giants... but it's not as though they are incapable of winning that game vs. a rookie... I'm backing it...
  • The Knicks are back in the Carmelo running... All it is is talk but I've heard him linked to NY, Chicago, and New Jersey in the last 24 hours... can we play some games? lol...
What to watch for...
  • Rangers/Yankees - TBS 4:07 - CJ Wilson vs. Sabathia - Rangers with a chance to close it out....
  • Phillies/Giants - FOX 7:57 - Blanton vs. Bumgarner - Swing game...
  • NBA Roundtable - ESPN 8:00 - A nice primer for the start of the season... gotta love it...
Tons of content on the site... NBA previews everywhere... hit 'em up!
