ANALYSIS

Brad: Let me preface... I have no idea if Ryan will talk about this at all... so I've prepared mentally to take this one... The new NBA darlings are a topic of discussion everywhere.. Durant speaks for himself... youngest scoring champ in NBA history and a top-5 player by anyone's standards... Russ Westbrook had an impressive 2nd season, and impressed internationally with Team USA... Harden is a guy who wasn't discussed a whole lot as a rook, but he was efficient, and a he's a mature guy with significant talent... Green is a do-it-all type guy who's playing out of position, but he's more than capable as an NBA guy getting 15-17 a game... the big question mark/deciding factor here is the bigs... Krstic is a solid role player, Aldrich was a helluva college center but we don't know what he'll be, and Serge Ibaka came on big-time in the playoffs, but he's still crazy raw... I'll give Ryan the option to opt out on the basis of his fury concerning the Sonics move and Mr. Clay Bennett breaking the wills of the city of Seattle... sir?

Ryan: .....they're a nice young team..they'll be higher than an 8th seed last year.. Prediction:5th in West

Brad: I can't stop laughing... anyway... Ryan has (rightfully so) taken an anti-OKC stance because of the move and that's about as much as I've gotten out of him for 3 years... we'll keep going... I've seen them as high as #2 in previews, and as low as #7... there's significant talent here, and if they get health/progression from their guys, this could be a 55-win type team ASAP... also, don't forget they have cap space outstanding to take on a contract midseason if they feel that they're a contender... add it all up? Prediction: 3rd in West
